Ruth is from Nova Scotia and Aaron is from Utah. They picked their colo(u)rs and asked for motifs to represent each place, with a vintage feel. What brings the Maritimes and the cowboy west together? Tall ships and cattle drives? Rope. And compass roses that look like the hot sun. I wrote a few lines for the save-the-date, and designed all the pieces including invitations, RSVPs, table cards, menus and hand-drawn signs at the Halifax boathouse.
